Vancouver’s Anciients Nominated for Juno Prize

Vancouver rockers Anciients have been nominated for ‘Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year’ Juno Award for the band’s 2016 album Voice of the Void. Congrats, fellas!

This isn’t the first time Anciients have been nominated for an award, previously making it onto the long list for a Polaris Prize last year.

The Junos are Canada’s biggest music awards, given out annually in 42 categories. This year’s Juno Awards will be held right here in Vancouver on March 25.

Stream/download Voice of the Void by Anciients on Bandcamp, or see the band live at the Astoria on Saturday (February 10) with Astrakhan, BRASS, and Empress. It might be your last chance for a while as Anciients will soon head out on a European tour with Black Wizard.
